The town Vynogradiv where it is situated SPA «Тeplytsa» has long, rich and ancient history.
An ancient Sevlush (it was an official name of the
town by the year 1946) was famous by the fact of being one of the first
one which receive all privileges and status of king town. We don’t know
who and when found it, but even in 1262 in Latin’s documents Sevlush is
known as king’s town.
There are a lot of historical monuments in Vynogradiv and it’s environs:
» Ascension Church ХIV, which was the center of public life and witness of great historical events during Reformation and Counterreformation age.
» Monastery and Church of frantsiskanciv (1516), which were destroyed and reconstructed several times.
» Pereny’s Palace ХVI – family nest of local feudal lord Pereny who received town Sevlush for his courage in all struggle.
» Castle “Kankiv” ХIII was build by
Hungarian feudal lord Benedek and was destroyed for the high treason
to his king. Sometimes later in XV century this area was
reconstructed to the monastery for Frantsiskanic’s Order. Nowadays
ruins of this fantastic Castle towers above the blue sky.
» King’s castle Nelab ХIII is situated near of the town Korolevo.
This palace was a shelter for Hungarian ruler’s during their
hunting. Also it was a control’s center for salt’s fuse in the river
Tisa and refuge for the local nobility who raised against Austrians.
That’s why this castle was destroyed.
» Wood Church in Bikine ХІІІ – XIV is one of the most ancient Trans Carpathian’s Buildings in Romanic stile.
» Church Uspeniya of the Virgin Mary 1669 (Novoselitsa)
There are a lot of historical and cultural monuments. They are collected in:
» Folk Museum of Vynogradiv (1968) which has 3159 exhibits;
» Art Gallery in v. Piyterfolvo (1968) which contain more than 2000 pictures and sculptural compositions.
» Folk Museum of Zatisnyansk in v. Tysobykin
which has rich collection about the history of Hungary. Also there are
museum in open air where we can see an architectural masterpieces.
By the way there are two national parks of flora in
Chernaya mountain (772) and Ulievska mountain (176) where there are a
lot of rare and valuable plants.
